Tschida 'Birdscape Rose' 2019

Christian Tschida's no-holds-barred, cult-status wines have been doing the rounds on the scene for a while now, and they just get better every year. He is very hands off in the vineyard and the winery, allowing for some amazing expression,

His rosés have always fascinated, playing with reduction and acid to almost extreme levels. The Birdscape is no different, utilising native grape Blaufrankisch to great effect, bright red fruits dance along a taut tightrope of acidity amongst a struck flint haze of minerality. Ridiculously good.
