Sam Leyshon has well and truly taken Mallaluka into great places, while still maintaining the vision of his dad, and producing fine, extremely high value wines. There is a genuineness and integrity to these wines, that reflect where they come from.
Notes from the Leyshon family:
Fruit from all regions, fermented on skins using indigenous yeasts. 60% Zibibbo, 30% Chardonnay, 10% Riesling.
Tropical salad fruits grown in red earth. Full skins but you wouldn’t know it. Put it in an esky and head to the beach.
