Maker Master Merchant Shiraz 2021

From the Hunter and also a little fruit from Hilltops a juicy balance of medium weight Shiraz. The ripeness shows and the fruit density is present but so is fine tannin and restraint. Punching high into the party but won't wipe you out before the main act. You could chill this a little or just get straight into it. Glass optional.

"Maker Master Merchant: wines borne of Wiradjuri and Wonnarua Lands in New South Wales, articulated with expertise, a gentle hand, respect for land that others trod before us and a vision of a better future.

Aaron Mercer winemaker of Mercer Wines, Ned Goodwin Master of Wine and Andrew Jamieson of AJ Wine Merchants, each bearing unique skills gave birth to the name. Each with familial ties to the most historic of wine regions, the Hunter and the vinous reaches of the Great Divide. Organically certified vineyards are worked with a gentle hand and little flourish to deliver quality, value and wines that speak of the places where we work and thrive" - MMM/AJWM
