l'Octavin Zerlina 2019

Alice Bouvot makes some of the most hands-off season dependent wines out of the Jura, but with some leaner vintages of late, she has started to broaden her horizons for fruit. The grapes for this wine however are from Alice’s vines in the “En Curon” vineyard where the soils are comprised of grey marl and limestone. The Pinot Noir and Trousseau were destemmed then macerated for 2 months and the juice was then transferred to tank for 10 months prior to bottling in May 2020 a full nine months after the harvest.
