David Geyer is the Yetti of Yetti & the Kokonut and the David of Geyer Wine Co. The vision is thus: A nod to the history of the region, with a fresh, modern approach.

This mourvedre (or Mataro, monastrell, depending on which school you went to) has benefited from a bit of extra time in bottle, to settle down what are still very present tannins with fine grip. The result is soft and pretty, savoury fruit, firmly clasped in a deliciously thirst-quenching velvet glove. Varietally correct, very delicious, the gateway for the old man to take a walk down the natural side. Nice one Dave!
