Frankly, Bob Made This Cab Franc, Syrah 2021
Bob and the Colman family, including young wunderkind son, Tom have been producing their own brand of natural wine out of their shed for a wee while now. They source fruit from nearby vineyards and guide it carefully to bottle with no additions. The results are cult classic wines that have become more refined every vintage.
Notes from the Colmen:
The cabernet franc was fermented with 1/3rd whole bunches and the de-stemmed syrah was fermented separately. They were separately pressed but aged together in an old french oak puncheon on full fermentation lees. Tastes like bramble berry, blackberry, and a hint of blueberry and tobacco leaf. Limited quantity here.
