Sebastien Christophe inherited his grandfather's vineyards 9 years ago, when he founded the domaine, and instantly started crafting fine, precise Chablis that became highly sought-after. He gained notoriety amongst importers and sommeliers in an underground tape-swapping kind of fashion, making his way onto the best portfolios and lists with little to no media attention.
This is a prime example of Chablis, fine oyster shell minerality with a touch more fruit due to a warmer vintage. This is pure She Sells Sanctuary...gothic, fine boned, with a pop sensibility and delicious sense of indulgence. And those heads that turn, make my back burn.
