Life goes for way too long to have to muscle your way through 750ml of chemicals and vinegary swill. Dodge a bullet and do yourself a favour by tucking into one of these organic champignons that won’t let ya down. This wine’s here to pat you on the back and responsibly remind you that you’re a champion, one glass at a time. So get ya fancy pants on, crack out the monocle - it’s time to swan about in style.
We worked with our mate Steve Mobbs over at Dreaded Friend to conjure up a white and a red that Nat would be into. The brief was a richer style white and a Rhone-y style red. He did not disappoint.
Roger & Ian's Boating wine, an organic chardonnay and viognier blend that encompasses vibrant inflections of apricot, zesty citrus, peach melba on the schnoz, with a boisterous palate coating richness that rides a lightning bolt of fine, nuanced acidity before culminating in a biscuity, snappy finish. It's big but oh boy, is it tasty!
The Cheeky Redders is organic grenache, that dances the light fandango with elegance, while still maintaining enough heat to stand up to the mightiest ragu. Have a sniff and find a bunch of dark red fruit, wild raspberry, dark cherry, little leather and spice and everything nice, take a slurp and you're on a magic carpet ride of red velvet cake and boysenberry. It is soft on the palate, but the tannins provide a fine boned architecture to house the most sloshable of red wines.
