You don't have to drive all the way to Fuckwit City to get a decent bottle of wine!
This could not be more of a grass-roots collab, Ross Knight of the Psychos grows the grapes on his farm, and down the road, his cousin Llew (Granite Hills) makes the wine! As the label states: All grapes grown, picked and sworn at lovingly by Ross!
We have two drops on offer here, white & red. The white - Blonde Psycho - is the classic Southern Rhone-style blend of Marsanne, Roussane & Viognier - but don't let the fancy stylings fool you, this is a full-bodied wine that can stand up to a slab of VB any day. Sure, there's a bit of apricot in there, a bit of creamy weight, but there's a good whack of chalky acid to clean that thing up and best pairing would obviously be a Schnitzel, chips and sauce.
The Psycho Shiraz is the red and oh boy it bull-dozes over your palate with a big load of flavour. There's a bit of mulberry, bramble fruit and a light dusting of white pepper. Would go well with a big hunk of steak or even just on top of a Mountain of Piss.
